The new Yamaha ybr 125 motorcycle does not start :-). What to do?

They brought me a motorcycle from the salon to the garage and I wanted to start it again. The bike worked for a couple of minutes and stalled :-). After that, I took him to the garage and left him alone for a week.

Near the cabin, the bike worked perfectly :-). But perhaps the bead ride of him (the motorcycle) was a little stunned, and he refused to start. The first thing we checked was the availability of gasoline. It was very few and I thought that the problem was in gasoline :-).

Petrol, motorcycle, refueling and canister

I have already written that if you buy a motorcycle from the salon, then the cat cried gasoline there and you need to go to the gas station immediately after the purchase. And I didn't go to the gas station.

In the end. As a result, you need to get gasoline. And for this you need to go to the gas station with a canister. But, the canister should be only iron, NOT PLASTIC! For safety reasons, you are not allowed to pour gasoline into a plastic canister at a gas station. Of course, the rules are sometimes violated :-), but if you bought to solve the canister, then it is better to buy aluminum, there will be no problems with it at gas stations.

So, going to the gas station, pouring fuel there, and then transferring this canister to the garage to the motte, is not the most pleasant task. Therefore, it is better to pour gasoline immediately.

Well, with the canister I did not succeed, as a result, a friend poured gasoline into a five-liter plastic bottle for me :-). Whew.

The new Yamaha ybr 125 does not start as we solved the issue

A week later, I poured gasoline into it and tried to get my brand new YOBR again, but I again failed. In the end, I called my friends for help :-).

In principle, as I understood, the main reason for the non-factory of a motorcycle is a candle or gasoline. That is, either the candle does not give a spark, or gasoline does not enter the carburetor. There are of course a million other reasons, but the motorcycle is new :-).

As a result, we unscrewed the candle, checked whether there was a spark. There was a spark. After that, a friend unscrewed the hose that supplies gasoline to the carburetor and gasoline poured from there, respectively, gasoline was also supplied.

Next, we tried to start the motorcycle from the kickstarter (paws) and from the pusher and from the starter. The result is the same – it didn't start.

It was decided to replace the candle. And the operation to repair the new motorcycle was postponed for another week. There was no spare candle at my side and I had to go to the store to buy it.

A week later, we changed the candle and warmed up the carburetor of the motorcycle a little with a hair dryer. It was just the month of December outside and I thought that the reason for the non-factory of the motorcycle could lie in the cold weather. Although it was not so cold, about +5.

After these procedures, the motorcycle started!!! There was no limit to my happiness.

But I still had little faith that the reason was in the candle. Like this is a new candle and defective. So I wiped the old candle and put it in the mot. And after that, it started anyway! Just mysticism.

What was the reason for the non-factory of the new Yamaha ybr 125 motorcycle?

One of the options is that the candle was flooded with gasoline, in the end it did not work. That is, you just had to wipe the candle and everything would be OK.

The second solution to the problem of not the plant of the Yamaha ybr 125 motorcycle is to drain the stagnant gasoline in the carburetor. I was advised to do this in the Yamaha showroom, with a simple motorcycle for more than 2 weeks. At the bottom of the carburetor there is a bolt that must be unscrewed and drained with a gram of 50 gasoline. It will be a dark color. Here is a photo of this screw, which must be unscrewed and through the hose, gasoline will pour:

That's pretty much it :-). On the forum (ybrclub.com), dedicated to the model Yamaha ybr 125, there is a whole thread devoted to the problem of the non-factory of this motorcycle, but I did not find information about this magic cog there.

I wish everyone to always start!
