1) Ideal when you have your own garage. But alas, I didn't have that joy.

2) Rent a garage (you can in half with someone). On the Internet, for example, on the site of Moto.kiev.ua – you can find like-minded people who also have a mot and want to rent a garage. That is, a minimum of 2 motorcycles are placed in the garage and the lease can be shared with someone. Therefore, if you have some money and you want to rent a garage, then the ideal option is to find a companion for this. Create a topic on the moto forum and I am sure that you will find a partner. Well, if you already have friends with a motorcycle, you can ask them what and how, and suddenly someone in the garage has a place.

The disadvantage of collective removal of the garage is the location (sometimes it is far from home) and the fact that the garage must be shared with someone :-).

In my case, I rent a garage with friends and it is 15 minutes away by public transport. I found friends on the forum, there was an announcement.

3) The third option is to put it in a well-guarded car park. Maybe you have noticed, sometimes in the open parking lot there is a booth with a guard, and in front of it, there are motorcycles and mopeds tied with a cable through the front wheel. This is done to make motorcycles more difficult to steal. In such a parking lot, in principle, you can store your motorcycle in the summer. Therefore, before the delivery of the mot, agree on a place and look after a normally guarded parking lot. Remember that in a parking lot that is poorly guarded, your motorcycle can easily be taken away!

4) Fourth option Parking. I know that the new houses have an underground parking lot with cameras and security. There some store their motorcycles, which is very convenient. You've come down and can go straight away :-). But alas, there are parking lots only in new houses.

5) The fifth option is the most aspirational, it is to leave the mot under the house. If you have windows overlooking the yard and you see your motorcycle and there is a signal installed there, then you can store the motorcycle at home and so on. But remember that sooner or later he can still be hijacked. Thieves are very cunning! And as soon as they see that the mot is standing under the entrance regularly, they will probably figure out how to take it away. Therefore, leaving the mot under the entrance unattended, remember that waking up in the morning, it is not a fact that it will remain there standing.

Motorcycle storage in winter

Everything that is written above refers to the warm period of the year, so to speak, to the skiing season. But in winter, storing a motorcycle in the parking lot is somehow inconvenient and aspirational. Therefore, for the winter, it is highly advisable for you to find a garage for your motorcycle!

You can search for a garage through the same Internet. There are even special companies that provide competent preservation of the motorcycle for the winter, although this pleasure is not very cheap.

The cheapest option is a collective garage rental. Sometimes up to 10 motorcycles fit in one gar (if they are not large.)
