Well, first of all, the motorcycle in the cold does not start well. This, of course, applies to poorly regulated motorcycles. But I suffered a little with my Ybr 125 when it stood in my garage for a month without moving. The battery went down and I pumped it with my paw for about 15 minutes.

And secondly, when it is +7 outside and the wind, you need to dress warmly! Especially insulate the part that is above the knees and below the waist :-).

What to wear when riding a motorcycle at +5

The best of course is special equipment: a warm jacket with a gortex + warm pants + a warm helmet cap + warm peppercorns. But given that not everyone drives in this weather, many riders like me do not have a special outfit for the fall.

So, if there is no rain, then I was quite comfortable to go: Verz: warm golf, fleece jacket, leather jacket without a buckle, winter gloves, helmet cap. Bottom: thermal underwear (pants), high socks, windproof motorcycles, motorboats.

With such clothes, only the tips of my toes and hands froze. But in general, the motorcycle was comfortable to ride!

By the way, a helmet cap is very much needed! Because the helmet still blows!

And yet, at +4, the visor of the helmet sweats. This should also be taken into account. I.e. either buy antifog, or exhale with your mouth :-).

I take a raincoat with me! When it rains, it helps a lot to get to the house almost dry.

If the air temperature is lower than +3, it is better not to drive a moto! Because the rubber does not warm up and is more likely to fall. And you need to dress warmly.
