My choice of the first motorcycle

So, I have previously written about what you need to do before buying a motorcycle. In that article it is written that you need to buy equipment, BUT, the equipment is selected for a specific model of motorcycle, so first you need to decide on the moto model.

Motorcycles are divided into several types, and each of these types is designed for its own purposes. I will not list the types of motorcycles here, perhaps I will do it in the next article. And then I'll just write about my choice of the first motorcycle :-).

Choosing your first motorcycle

So, on forums like "Motka (moto.kiev.ua)", you can always create a topic and ask advice from "knowledgeable people" on which model of the first moto you should buy. And you will immediately be told who thinks what. But the problem is that man is arranged in such a way that "every wader praises his swamp." That is, everyone will prove that it is better to buy "this", and not another, giving some arguments.

And on the forums there are so-called "moto drochers" – those people who do not have a motorcycle and did not have, but who are "very well" versed in them. So they often give advice that only exacerbates the problem of choice.

After re-reading a lot of interviews with relatively famous motorcyclists and motorcyclists, I came to the conclusion that the first model of the motorcycle is very different for everyone :-). And people came to motorcycle movement in very different ways, someone has been sick with two wheels since childhood, and someone sits on an iron horse in the pre-retirement age. In short, everything is different for everyone!

But of all the stories about the beginning of motorcycle life, we can draw the following conclusions:

1) The first motorcycle doesn't have to be very powerful! This is because the powerful one can be easily killed, as it does not forgive the mistakes of a beginner. That is, he learns to drive, preferably on a small cubic mote.

2) It is better to buy a road motorcycle that is easy to drive, it will be easier to learn on it.

3) Advice from me personally. It is better to buy a popular motorcycle model, as there will be no problems with spare parts and there will be someone to ask about the motorcycle or its repair.

4) And one more tip from me. It is better to buy a new motorcycle :-). But alas, it depends on the money. A lot of people learn to buy a mote and it's OK. Just when buying, take a fumble friend with you so you don't buy a problematic mot.

But once again, people are different! Some study normally in sports and on chopers and enduro. Therefore, if you have a motorcycle in your soul, then you can buy it, but before that, still consult your friends or the instructor (from the motorcycle school). I do not advise you to contact the forum for help – they will only confuse you.

My choice of the first motorcycle

I gave my choice of the first mot, in favor of the model yamaha ybr 125. In Ukraine, a new such mot, cost until 2012 2250 c.u. Well, since 2012, a new batch of Already Turkish assembly has been brought, at a price of 2500 USD.

What can I say about this Yamaha and why I chose it as my first motorcycle. The answer is simple, this is the cheapest branded new motorcycle that you can buy in the salon. Any other Japanese and European brands are more expensive.

In this Yamaha, W.B. Air has only 125 cubes, a maximum speed of about 100 km per hour, they are used by many motorcycles as training motorcycles. Well, in addition, this mot is quite reliable. There is an international forum dedicated to this Yamaha model, where you can learn everything about this model: ybrclub.com.

In addition, before buying this mot, I rode it in one of the motorcycle schools in Kiev (I bought a trial lesson). The mote is really easy to learn, it is easy and agile.

Okay, though, stop praising the mot :-). The choice is always yours! Be sure, before buying a motorcycle (exit to the track), buy motorcycle equipment!
