Why 2 helmets?

– Because if you go somewhere together, then the helmet stupidly has nowhere to go. And if you come to see some landmark, and even just go to the supermarket. Then the helmet or in the storage room should be handed over, or dragged with them (And this occupation is not pleasant, they are painfully voluminous).

Therefore, it was decided to buy a plastic case, namely Shad sh-45. At first I thought to buy a smaller case – Shad sh-42, but it was not available in Kiev in a store in which the price is old (Due to the growth of the dollar, prices almost everywhere for imported goods have increased). So I had to take a Shad sh-45.

So, the case was bought in the store Promoto, it is located in Kiev, on Zabolotnogo, 3. First you need to call – that you would bring the goods from the warehouse. The shop is very pleasant, or rather, the people who work there will prompt, help, advise.

Near the store there is a service station where you can order the installation of purchased parts-accessories. It certainly costs money, so I decided to put the case myself :-).

The case comes complete with a platform that can be put on:

– trunk

– Special mount for motorcycle for Shad cases

In my case, I bet you can say that on the trunk. It was not difficult to put the platform in general, but for a good 30 minutes I definitely carried with the installation, since the fasteners were not placed symmetrically!

To install the case, you need:

– Phillips screwdriver

– Key on… like 10, maybe 12 (I don't remember exactly).

So, look for the entry points to the trunk. I managed to screw everything asymmetrically, but that's okay. In Promoto , I was told that many people put it this way. The peculiarity of fixing the case is as follows. Everything is fastened by the way with four bolts with nuts.

You can see that there are such plates – if I had a regular trunk, then these plates cling to the trunk pipes (in fact, the trunk itself).

When screwing – try to screw the bolts with a uniform clamp. That is, that everywhere there would be approximately the same load. True, this can be implemented in fact only by eye.

Put the Shad case itself on the site

There's a little secret :-). I immediately did not understand how to squeeze the lower metal spring – to install the case, I thought the key should be turned for this, but it turns out that you need to squeeze the lower plate plastic (where the lock itself is):

That is, you can remove and put the case quite quickly.

Conclusions on the shad sh 45 case, what gets there

Climbs or 2 helmets integral + trifle. Or one helmet + trifle + jacket (small) or pants (not leather). That is, to put there a jacket + pants + helmet is problematic, although it is possible (if the jacket is summer and the pants are not leather).

Basically, I took a case for two helmets + gloves and a trifle – and this fits perfectly. How the case will serve – we'll see. I will write about his condition.

By the way, even to the case, you can additionally buy a colored plate on the top + backrest for the passenger. But I don't have the money for that luxury yet :-).
