How did I break the visor for the helmet and what helmet do not need to buy

In response, I hear that the helmet was dropped and Visor broke. Ml.. Here's the trouble, and I just have to go. To temporarily find a way out of the situation, I decide to wear dark glasses under the helmet. That is, first I put on a helmet, and then I try to squeeze glasses into it – first one arch then the second. In short, not comfortable!

Somehow I went on business. I return to the garage and there they tell me how the visor was broken.

The man climbed for the tools that were lying near my standing moth and miraculously dropped his helmet. He promised to give the money for the visor. That's just one caveat. When I bought the equipment, it was still green, that is, not experienced. And I bought a helmet from the Australian manufacturer Rjays. In Ukraine, visors are not sold to them, and in general a man from whom he took a helmet and no longer carries.

That is, the helmet is as if intact, but without glass and glass there is nowhere to buy. On foreign websites, helmet visors stand like the floor of a helmet! That is, about 30-100 USD, and I bought a helmet for 80 USD.

I decided to temporarily glue the visor with super glue. I glued it not neatly, the drops of superglue got on the glass. So if you glue the visor, then do not slap it! Super glue is almost impossible to remove from plastic!

But that's half the trouble, I didn't come to the garage the next day to put the visor in the helmet and found that the small fastening parts were broken off and the visor on one side did not become in the grooves. That is, the glass can no longer be fixed on the helmet. EH … And then you have to go, to the second TO :-). Somehow I attached the visor to the helmet in one position and drove.

At speeds above 40, the visor on one side flew off, as a result, I had to stop correcting.

When I arrived home after the maintenance , I tightly fastened the visor on the sides with tape! Now my helmet looks ridiculous – all in scotch tape and in fact I need to buy a new helmet :(. Hopefully the person who broke the helmet will compensate half the amount.

Morality:

– When you buy a helmet, scour the Internet for consumables for helmet – visors.

– Visors are very expensive – for a piece of transparent placitka 200-300 UAH

– Leaving your helmet in the mirror in the garage where not only your motorcycle stands is not safe :((.
