Where to put a motorcycle at night

I will describe the main places where owners put their motorcycles. But remember that there is such a thing as ingenuity, and you can find your safe option for storing a bike.

Where to put a motorcycle at night

Garage. The most correct and ideal option. If you do not have a garage, then it can be rented, moreover, rented for a couple with someone. How to find a garage, I already wrote. But this method has a minus – if there are no garages near the house, then alas… Either spend time on the road to the motorcycle, or ride it only on weekends. Another option is to buy a bike and go to the garage by bike, if of course the distance is up to 5 km.

Underground parking. The second best option. If you have an underground parking lot in your house, you can put a motorcycle there. Moreover, you can rent one parking space for two. In Kiev, the price per month is about 600 UAH for a parking space. That is, 300 UAH is obtained. If there is a new house with parking next to your house, then you can look for parking space renters and agree.

Paid guarded parking. The third most convenient option. If there is a paid parking lot with a watchman near the house, then you can leave the mot there. Just look that the parking lot would be reliable. Not far from my house, scooters and mottes are placed in the parking lot, their watchman pulls a chain along the front wheel. That is, rolling the mot even with a sleeping watchman will already be problematic.

Under the house, under the windows on the alarm.

If you have the first or second floor, some put a mot under the windows. At the same time, an alarm system + a lock on the brake disc is mandatory. Total – if someone wants to steal a mot at night – you will hear a signal and you will have time to call the police. The lock on the brake disc is needed so that the mot does not roll away + complicate the theft procedure. But there will always be craftsmen who will stuff a moth into a gazelle in 20 seconds, as in the video below:

In a gazelle or van near the house. Quite an original way. If you have a van and it is parked near the house, then you can drag the bike there. The plus of the van is that it has a signal that will definitely work. Well, time needs to get the moty out of the van.

Houses 🙂 Again, if the porch and the house allow you to push the mot home, then why not? True, the smell of gasoline in the apartment will be :-(.

How not to leave the motorcycle

Unattended and relying on a steering lock. Breaking the steering lock is a matter of 20 seconds.

Hope for an alarm. Also not worth it, now craftsmen and jammers have ways to bypass the signal. It's trite to shove a moth into a gazelle and take it away. A signal will not save.

Leave in a paid parking lot, NOT near the watchman. If the motorcycle is not under the nose of the watchman, then it can easily be stolen. What's more, a person can go into a parking lot, break your lock, put on a helmet and drive out through a watchman like you :-). There have been such cases. Therefore, if you leave the mot in the parking lot, then only in front of the eyes of the watchman!

Unguarded garage. Garages are easy to open and steal motorcycles. Therefore, you should not store your motorcycle in an unguarded garage!
